De-Stress-oR!!




ALoha. For those of you who are feeling stressed out you might want to think of trying some yoga. It might be a better way to deal with the stresses you face everyday. While doing yoga you try to bring your body back to is optimal functioning by... relaxing your breathing, strengthening your muscles and alleviating stress that may cause tension throughout you body. I don't know much about yoga, but take some time to check it out.. maybe give it a try.
Yoga Today is a good resource for those of you who don't have access to yoga classes. It provides a weekly class, and you can do it in the privacy of your own home so you don't have to look like a fool. Here is a link to the website...

I have been told to do yoga since I was in high school because I get so stressed with everything and bottle it all up. I never really wanted to try it because I am way to impatient for it but maybe I should start to look into it to keep me relaxed for my future endeavors.

I have done yoga in the past. this was when i was coming out of the sport of extreme kayaking. I came into this class, that was actually the advanced class, thinking that i would be able to muscle my way through. WRONG!!! yoga kicked my ass. and these tiny girls in the front of the class were outstanding and had much greater stamina than i. It is well worth the experience and for those who find they really enjoy it its a great way to stay in shape.

What's cool about this is that people think that they need to be flexible to do this or that they don't have the time to do it. I am one of those people and I actually found the simplest of positions and it takes no time at all and relieves a lot more stress than we think.
